The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date, available only in 18 kt gold or 950 platinum, embodies the essence of Rolex prestige and excellence. At its launch in 1956, it was the world’s first calendar wristwatch to indicate, in addition to the date, the day of the week spelled out in full in a window on the dial – a major watchmaking innovation.
